The Trust was delighted to award a capital grant of £9,000 to Bishop Ridley CE Primary School last year which enabled them to access funding for an exciting and amazing major makeover to the outdoor play areas for the whole school. The work is now almost completed and includes:
- a new Nursery climbing frame,
- an extended Reception outside space,
- a reflection area in their school courtyard,
- improved access to the school’s trim trail
- fencing to allow the foundations for the school to develop an outside classroom
- An outside canopy for playground shade.
Trust Chairman, Cllr Nigel Betts, and Secretary, Linda Clayton, were delighted to attend a special Thank You Assembly, where they also enjoyed the musical talents of a number of the children, followed by a tour of their wonderful new facilites, some of which are pictured below:
