The Trust put on its first ever fundraising concert at St Michael’s Church, East Wickham, on Saturday 21st June. The music was provided by our old friends the Belvedere Concert Band, conducted by their new Musical Director Andrew Denyer. Our appreciation goes to the band and also to talented Soprano Janette Cattell, who sung two beautiful solos.
Donations given in the interval for refreshments took the total raised to over £1,300 and we thank the audience for their generosity The proceeds will be split between St Michael’s Church and Carers’ Support (Bexley), who provide practical and emotional support to people who care for a relative with a disability or illness. We also thank Morrisons in Welling for their generous donation of wine.
